Our small rural Exira School is located in southwestern Iowa. Our school had the opportunity to purchase GeoMotion mats and the DVD packages through a federal PEP Grant. The Pre-school thru 6th grade students have been highly motivated to get their hearts pumping to the beat of the music with dance steps, games and exercise routines created by GeoMotion. These workouts are designed to enhance the physical, mental and social development of our students especially during our cold winter months. The students love the Geo Motion Fitness Program in our PE classes. Plus it is a safe and enjoyable experience!

Our school was so excited to receive the VAHPERD / GeoFitness Grant this summer. We are eager to learn the many uses of the GeoFitness equipment. We look forward to using the equipment to motivate movement, develop essential fitness components, and reinforce important academic concepts through movement.

The GeoMotion Fitness and Dance set is a valuable addition to any physical education curriculum. In terms of cost and benefit, this product is a winner. All students in a class can be involved at the same time in a highly motivating activity. I would give in my 'best of the bunch' award for new and innovative physical education activities.

In my view, GeoFitness is more economical, practical and curriculum based than the DDR program. The primary reason our school invested in GeoFitness was the fact that your program aligns with all of our national and state standards for physical activity, it has many applications: hip hop, salsa, boxercise, functional training, and it’s developmentally appropriate to students (K-12). I like the fact that the GeoMats teach kids about problem solving, sequencing skills and how to layer choreography on the mats. It’s more than just mindless movement.

I saw GeoFitness at a conference, attended a breakout session and I was hooked on the activity and movement. GeoFitness was a great movement activity, easy to store and all students can use this! Moving, dancing and learning all at the same time! GeoFitness related well to our state learning guidelines. We use GeoFitness in all of our 6-12 physical education classes. All students want to participate! The music starts going and you want to start moving.

The students are loving this fun way to "get fit" and jam to their favorite music!
They are working with the mats twice a week and they really enjoy the challenge :)
It is a terrific program!
