JoAnne Owens-Nauslar has spent forty years promoting the benefits of healthy active living and is considered one of the nation’s most vocal personalities on issues of physical activity. “Dr. Jo” promotes concepts such as:
-Living in a peak performance body has numerous benefits
-You don’t stop exercising because you grow old, you grow old because you stop exercising
-No Deposit…No Return-You must invest in your own well being
-Secure your own mask first so you can be a great role model for children and youth.

In addition to speaking and training roles GeoMotion Group, Inc., Dr. Jo will spearhead the company’s nationwide activity initiative, Be A Part of the GeoFit Generation.
Dr. Jo has degrees from Chadron State College (NE) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has been president of On Deck Circle-Husker Softball, The Husker Athletic Fund, the National Association for Sport and Physical Education, a local school board, and Nebraska, Central District, and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
As an active volunteer for the American Heart Association, Lincoln Public Schools, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, women’s heart health, and the Girls & Women in Sport Recognition Day, Trinity Chapel Church, and Lincoln Boys Choir, her days are filled with activity. JoAnne and husband Red, raise Texas Longhorn cattle, quarter and paint horses, llamas and goats at Big-E-Nuff Ranch west of Lincoln, NE.
Awards and recognitions include Healthy American Fitness Leader, Presidential Citation from National Association for Girls and Women in Sport, the Mabel Lee Award, Honor Award, and the R. Tait McKenzie Award from the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance. She has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from both alma maters-Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The trophy case and garage are filled with other awards, but Dr. Jo is sure we can move on without listing those recognitions. JoAnne serves as Director of Corporate/Community Development at GeoMotion Group, Inc., a Florida based company.
